When my kids were small, I was a childproofing fanatic so I really appreciated the details of things to consider for other parents such as actually getting down on your toddlers level to look for danger and the hazards of loose but heavy televisions or bookcases perfect for little
hands to tug on looking for extra support.

This is a piece taken from an artice titled, “How To Get Your Toddler To Listen”.

“In case you haven’t figured it out by now toddlers are just like us grown folks, they listen when they want to, as a matter of fact they are at a stage where they need to be taught to pay attention. How many of you tell your toddler something more than 2 or three times and after the third time start counting down to punishment?”

I know I find myself still using a few modified versions of these techniques so here’s a tip: they work for older kids too. (I’m not so sure about the husbands though ; - ) Just kidding guys. Seriously though there’s a lot of good information here. Job well done.
