What is it that makes life feel full of purpose and meaning? Is it self-directed, or is life already planned out for us at birth by some higher source as many believe?

Living Out Loud The sentiments in this video are inspiring (I would have used a different musical selection but it’s still good to watch.)

Looking from one perspective might give the feeling “what’s the use?”  If our lives are pre-determined nothing we do matters anyway.  Another view could be that we are on a certain pre-determined path, however, we are free to make choices along the way that impact that path. What do you think?
