I'm here without you baby Personal Growth and Blogging Success Image from Flickr Success, personal growth and I have at times appeared to be on a collision course. Lately, that feeling has intensified so I am looking at many new options for my blog baby, Success Chronicle, which I'm reasonably proud of. Of course there's always room for growth, but isn't that the same with life? I've learned so much this past year about nurturing my own inner dreams and goals. It's been a great joy to re-discover my love of sculpting, dancing and sketching. In fact, I might just show off the first piece I ever sculpted (not having a clue how to make a porcelain doll or what the heck I was doing). Somehow, the clay block just felt like a part of me, so it was fun anyway. Alright, I can't help showing it to you so look through the flickr images at the end of this post. The bottom line I suppose, is that I needed to see that this search for self discovery and Financial Freedom comes in many shapes, sizes and time frames. Each of us will have our own unique definition for what that means. Our life challenges are varied, our degrees of commitment to relationships and significant others are different, and the levels of experience and frustrations we bring will not be the same. In order to define our own versions of success, sometimes it's critical to slow down to speed up. Over the next few months, Success Chronicle will be making many behind the scenes changes and upgrades so that I can make your visiting experience here even richer. **This is what happened the first time I ever sculpted anything. They've been sitting in a box in my closet since 1997. ginny_nohat.png1st_sculptures3.png

"Why You Should Never Give Up A Dream (...Or Steal One)"

“Why You Should Never Give Up A Dream (…Or Steal One)”

Where would all the great wonders of the world be if the dreamers neglected the dreams? Today I have been totally mesmerized and encouraged by the unwavering dream of a very special person, and an even more remarkable young man.

If you are a person who has ever, ... and I mean EVER, had a dream, a goal, or an idea that you believed you could accomplish with your total being, then you absolutely must see this video.

Let it rebuild the confidence the "dream slayers" have tried to take from you. Use the message to encourage you when others tell you "no way can you do this" or to "give it up" and move on.

Meditate on the massive empowering energy as you view the video, knowing that within you, if your dream is big and strong enough, the ability to overcome anything is certain.

Pay the dream forward by sharing this video with others. May it become another building block towards a future where no one ever has to feel intimidated again because of what others feel they are not.

Something wicked this way came... at least in my Technorati faves! I've been under incredible personal stress as many of you know, so I've been off my game for a bit. I wondered why one of my Stumble friends had an undesirable word underneath as a tag. I corrected that. Then when looking at Technorati--- to say I was speechless would be an understatement. What I found was that many undesired posts showed up under my favs... and they are definitely not on any lists I'm a part of.  How can this be possible? Why are negative sites showing up under my Technorati faves?! Have I been hacked somehow? It would appear so. For now, I'm working on getting this garbage deleted immediately, then I'll post to a few friends and Technorati support to see what's amiss. This really stinks.

Hello wonderful visitors and friends. Today's thought is about inner substance. If we are what we think about, what does that look like in your life? If the meditations of our minds manifest what and wherever we are in life, are we happy with what we see?
Is it hard for you to believe that you deserve the best in life because of early upbringing and conditioning? Think about how you learned to relate to money for instance. Many people heard on a daily basis what they couldn't or could afford, that they should be happy i.e. thankful for the little bit they got. True, but that doesn't mean you should be content to live a life of scarcity forever.

Today I want to keep this short and just encourage everyone to embrace their greatness. Use the power of your thoughts to focus on what you want to bring into your life today. Prosperous thinking should be treated like a dear old and cherished friend. Success and prosperity are comrades in arms. Together like the tide coming in and going out, these two allies will start moving the undesired, unnecessary and outgrown situations out of your life and welcoming in the fantastic!

Quote I'm Reflecting On Today...

"Happiness is like a butterfly, which, when chased, is always just beyond reach of your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may gently land upon your shoulder." Paraphrased From Nathaniel Hawthorne

What about that SuperBowl game?! I enjoyed watching both teams play throughout the season. My brother-in-law used to say he "married the wrong sister" because I am such an avid football fan and my younger sister, bless her sweet heart, didn't yet have a clue. Having kids in junior sports sure changes things.

When players appeared before the game, one of them wearing red/white made a face towards the camera. At first glance, I thought the Patriots were the guys in those uniforms. In all my intuitive confidence, I told my hubby-buddy, "See? They're going to lose because their heads aren't in the game. It's the SuperBowl! Why are they playing around? That's it. The Giants are winning this."

Well, as my spouse and the rest of the world already knew, the Giants were "those other guys." So now I'm looking at their victory and thinking back to the intense faces of the darker uniformed team as they entered the field. You'd think seeing Tom Brady would give me a clue, but hey, I'm entitled to the occasional "duh" moment so we'll just blame it on that for now okay, friends?
After the fact, I re-considered that camera clowning face again. Maybe there was more to that when you viewed it from a mindset point of view. Going in, the Giants were the David of old meeting an undefeated Goliath. Up against a "perfect season," they had to lay it all on the line. Maybe the coach's secret was to encourage them to be proud of getting this far, play hard like there's no tomorrow, believe in themselves, and most importantly... just have fun! That's a lesson I think I'll keep.
I love seeing all your beautiful faces, icons and comments! Thanks for visiting. If you like what I'm blogging about, I'd appreciate you sharing information about my blog with your friends.
