Gratitude Attitude

"The Brave May Not Live Long, But The Cautious Do Not Live At All." The Princess Diaries

Creative Commons License photo credit:TheAlieness GiselaGiardino²³ Hearts of Light Today was "one of those days" where I was feeling out of sorts, missing my online friends and colleagues I've had to be away from far too long, because of health challenges in my children. That's one reason I asked in a previous post, who has a harder time as an Entrepreneur. Many of us started this new internet marketing venture together, helping and supporting each other emotionally as we followed our hearts, nurtured our dreams and renewed our spirits. Celebrating everyone's individual growth is natural for me. Seeing others progress confirms for me that we have all found most, if not all of the pieces to the internet marketing puzzles, blogging and successful relationship developments. These friends and colleagues online are, and have always been my inspiration, even though they probably didn't know that until...well, until now. Other inspirations come from the visitors, commenters and readers of my blog, my small but growing following on Twitter, those hearty few who have been requesting to follow my RSS feed, Facebook Friends including the many successful marketers, who were generous enough to add me as their friend, and keep me there, even when my posts are so sporadic, my new social bookmarking friends and all those people who can't (or won't) see the big picture possibilities of internet financial freedom. Most of my life I've been a positive person, a nurturer of sorts to the world, an affirmation lover and very prosperity conscious. Growing an online income that would last over the long haul, creating financial freedom and abundance for my family was, and still is a heady goal. I know that others are hurting and feeling unsupported in their dreams and goals too. That's why I want to make something good come from all the challenges and pain my husband, our children, and I have overcome these past years. If I can' be an inspiration to others to continue in the face of tremendous odds then it can't be done. LOL Mental health care is not cheap, so it's hugely scary paying for it out of our retirement funds now. I keep thinking of an old movie called the "Money Pit" with Shelly Long. It's like one huge whirlpool sucking up everything that comes in. Feeling sorry for myself makes me feel bad, more like weak and overwhelmed. I don't like that, so I keep protecting my head and charging forward. That's the only direction I know how to go in. The Michael Losier training my friend Suzie just completed, was on my future schedule too, but I found I would have to do it next year after things settle down financially. I read recently the next year's session will be in Malaysia, so that kind of took the wind out of my sails again. I've only started flying and the long hours in flight concern me. I'll check to see if maybe they're doing one closer in the states any time soon and worry about funding it when the dates get closer. Tonight I was excited because I found a Law of Attraction Training Center that is more affordable for me and more in line with family time constraints, because I can take modules one at a time as I can generate and attract funding for them. For example, one of the courses is Teaching Law of Attraction Using Accelerated Learning Techniques for Faster Student Integration! [Six hours] Instructor: Michael Losier Fee: $259.

After looking at the coach listings and more on the site, this does not seem to offer the same support system that the Facilitator site does, so it looks like back to the drawing board. Heavy sighing...

This part actually started out as the beginning of my post, so I don't know where all the other venting came from.  Someone else out there must have needed to hear that you are bigger than your challenges in life. Since I was feeling drained, I decided to catch up on my bloglines feeds. I came across this one at Becoming Your Stellar Self URL: A Mighty Wind When things are so challenging that you don't know if you'll have the strength to look tomorrow in the face, it's easy to be forgetful about gratitude. There was a tremendous lesson in this post for me. I hope you will enjoy it also.

Which Path Is Choosing Me?

Langmoor Gardens, Lyme Regis

Today I feel pulled in too many directions. A few days ago after a discussion with another business owner, I was looking at where I was in my life, what I was willing to commit for the lifestyle I want to attract, and wondering if I would recognize "the one" opportunity or direction when it appeared.

Several times I could see the brass ring but it always slips out of sight just before I can grab it firmly. Listening to Michael Losier after Suzie Cheel, my online friend and colleague, attracted her Facilitator dreams, he was saying that whatever situation or results we're getting in our lives, somehow the energy we're putting out or surrounding ourselves with is attracting negative or positive stuff in.

Thinking back to the time we adopted, my husband and I focused so much on what we didn't want, I mean our thoughts were seriously directed to certain health or behavioral characteristics. There were already special circumstances which were overwhelming. So intent were our prayers and thoughts, we got exactly what we didn't want in our children. They are beautiful but all struggle with some health aspect ranging from barely there, all the way up to "Oh, My God! How Will We Ever Get Through This?!"

I love blogging here and sharing my thoughts with everyone, but my original goal for this site was to be more resourceful than I've been able to develop so far. One of the things to come out of that earlier conversation I mentioned, was the realization that somewhere along the line, I became so intent on being a good blogger, affiliate marketer and social networker as I was being instructed, that I forgot to be a business person, and most importantly, I forgot to just be myself. No excuses, just awarenesses.

Comments are always welcome, so thanks in advance.

"Why You Should Never Give Up A Dream (...Or Steal One)"

“Why You Should Never Give Up A Dream (…Or Steal One)”

Where would all the great wonders of the world be if the dreamers neglected the dreams? Today I have been totally mesmerized and encouraged by the unwavering dream of a very special person, and an even more remarkable young man.

If you are a person who has ever, ... and I mean EVER, had a dream, a goal, or an idea that you believed you could accomplish with your total being, then you absolutely must see this video.

Let it rebuild the confidence the "dream slayers" have tried to take from you. Use the message to encourage you when others tell you "no way can you do this" or to "give it up" and move on.

Meditate on the massive empowering energy as you view the video, knowing that within you, if your dream is big and strong enough, the ability to overcome anything is certain.

Pay the dream forward by sharing this video with others. May it become another building block towards a future where no one ever has to feel intimidated again because of what others feel they are not.

20 Steps To Out Of The Box Success Thinking

self confidence

Today was a day of self reflection and boy, was there a lot to look back on, including the many times I've judged myself harshly for not being further ahead in my online business career.

Sometimes because life challenges overwhelmed me and stopped me right in my tracks. Or situations where information overload, family stress and the pressure to keep fresh blog content led to frustrated action paralysis.

There were too many times spent reacting as the long distance swimmer who has forgotten to keep his or her eyes focused forward. Knowing that to look to the right, or to the left will allow doubt to creep in, and will cause a focus on the competitors rather than the victory ahead.

I decided to share with you some of the things that grew out of that introspection. My hope is that reading about them will prove beneficial to your own "out of the box success thinking." Innovation and not wanting to be spoon fed step-by-step while building my business, but taking good information and mixing it with my own spin adds to my self-value, instead of detracting from it.

  • Innovation and not wanting to be spoon fed step-by-step while building my business, but taking good information and mixing it with my own spin adds to my self-value, instead of detracting from it.
  • Originality, or finding the value in my own voice and sharing my individual uniqueness builds my confidence and reduces my fears.
  • The goal is to lead others more than I follow, but not to count it as a weakness when I need to lean on others occasionally for support.
  • No matter how much I learn about marketing online, my biggest growth comes when I see things the way my target visitors or customers do.
  • A far better strategic plan is over delivering where I can, rather than underachieving everywhere else.
  • Experiences which do not kill me, ultimately will make me stronger. I can then use those experiences to enrich the lives of others still involved in the struggle.
  • Enhanced living each day will allow me to not only lift myself up, it will help me reach out to lift up others.
  • Practicing gratitude rather than grouchiness will always take me further.
  • "Having it all," but losing everything else in the process will ultimately be a hollow victory.
  • I must decide what a balanced lifestyle is to me. If I have sacrificed my health, my integrity, my relationships or my self worth, then the price has been too high.
  • Experience more appreciation for what's been achieved, not despair for what has failed.
  • Continue to experiment and learn from my mistakes, not become stagnant and resistant to change.
  • Pat myself on the back with self-approval more often than I beat myself up with stress, anxiety and frustration.
  • A heightened awareness of limiting beliefs and childhood programmed actions allows me to change them to more productive ones, keeping me out of avoidance thinking.
  • Everyone has a different route, time and place for success. Measuring myself against the speed of growth of others is a negative energy drain.
  • The challenges I must overcome on my particular path to success, will vary from everyone else. Fairness has nothing to do with it. What is...simply is. I determine if I will let challenges stop me or not.
  • Mistakes can become steps to wisdom, or stumbling blocks to growth. I decide which will become which.
  • Realize the value of relationship building, yet practice gentleness with myself when life circumstances prevent a focus on social networking.
  • The one constant that I can be certain of is that things will change in time.
  • Learning to let go of the things which I cannot change, or have no control over is a sign of courage not cowardice.
  • The only life limitations that belong to me are the ones I choose to accept.

"The Science of Success" Review
"What would you dare to achieve if you knew you absolutely could not fail?" I'm sure that question has come across your view as often as it has my own. Would you finally move into your dream home? Return to school? Fall off the global map for a year to travel?
It's interesting to consider for sure, but fear is the great immobilizer isn't it? Even if you know all of the universal principles out there, they won't work if you can't get pass this action-blocker in your mind.
One proposed method for overcoming this challenge is presented by James Ray, international speaker and author. He calls this method "The Science of Success."
What I really like about the program is the clear roadmap presented that helps you examine every aspect of your life, thereby making changes last on a deeper level.
Wealthy or more successful people aren't any smarter than you or I. They just have a better system to follow. They're so good at it that their actions reach down into their subconscious to continually work for them. They've obtained what Ray considers, "Harmonic Wealth" status. Basically the integration of mind, body and spirit balance.
For example, if you have a terrible relationship, does it matter how smart you are? If you have all the wealth you could imagine, but are too ill to enjoy it, does it matter?
I like the clear way James Ray takes you through various growth steps with his "owner's manual" for life. "The Science of Success" is a great transformational product and is highly recommended.
