It’s good to be back blogging again after the last few days of change. My mother lost her last (and youngest) sibling. Her heart buckled under the strain of managing a long distance illness and loss which her
health would not allow her to attend to first hand.

I’m finding it difficult to watch my mother age and manage her own end of life details. I’ve already gone from being the youngest sibling to the
eldest and learned what it is to be fatherless. Watching and listening to my mother’s wisdom as she tries to impart so many things to me, I keep hearing Eric Clapton’s song, "The Cat’s In The Cradle" about longing and loss.

We all want financial success and freedom and there’s nothing wrong with that. As you go through your
journey to success, it’s so important to make time for what matters on a personal level. Time passes much too swiftly. As someone said to me recently, you always see yourself in the future, but you never see yourself aging… you’re just in the future.
