Today’s journey into earning an income completely online, achieving abundance and success, and most of all maintaining focus has had it’s peaks and valleys.

See, the main problem with the internet IS the internet. I truly love the internet and how it has opened up the world to everyone. But there is so much glittering and calling for your attention that it’s easy to become distracted. For perpetual students, it’s mental overload all the time.

To avoid getting caught up in all the wonderful, helpful and encouraging information to be found on the net, I have started a 30-day challenge for myself. I have assigned myself the tasks of unsubscribing from way too many lists, reports, updates and newsletters. It was surprising how many I had stock piled.Image

Every morning and evening a portion of my time is set aside for meditation on my vivid visions, expressions of gratitude and forcing my mind to be still. A great exercise I learned years ago that helps me is focus training.

Basically you find quiet time and sit with your eyes closed. Clear your mind of everything except for a visual image of the number one. Harness your mind and make it stay only on that number one.

You’ll be shocked how many other things your mind will try to race towards. Continue reeling your mind back to the number one for a few minutes. When you’ve mastered it, move on to the number two.

Repeat previous steps and continue moving forward until you can reach the number ten successfully.

Another tool that can help with your focus was developed by Andrew Peacock and is available free to you.

No matter what you have planned to do the night before, it’s easy to find yourself at the end of the day with little, if any of those things completed. Andrew offers a free program called “Stay-On-Focus”, which is a tool to help remind you to create that article, contact someone regarding a joint venture or send product updates etc. I recently installed it myself. I’m very pleased with it because it ’s easy to install and simple to use. desktop task reminder system. You decide how much time passes before a reminder pop ups.
