Today I was asked a very interesting question…about basketball. Now I’m a huge sports fan. That’s about it. I did however, enjoy watching my nine year old son Deion this weekend as he ran around the room grabbing his head and shouting, “What’s wrong with me? I can’t get sports out of my head!!! There’s just too much to watch but I can’t get enough of it!!! I’ve gotta watch–I can’t stop myself! I love it all! Baseball, football, basketball and hockey, monster truck jam, NASCAR, boxing and drag racing! What’s happening to me???” You of course, can tell that he keeps me laughing he’s such an unpredictable?character. Growing up in a household of?sisters, I had never before witnessed this “manliness transformation”.

The questions were, “What’s the difference between a basketball athlete who finishes high school, gets a part-time job, goes to college and then plays in the NBA” versus “A player who leaves high school early with a $63 million dollar NBA contract in his pocket, works a part-tme job, and continues his education part-time?”

I can remember it all too clearly.. Back in 1999, when I began my journey online there were only 5-10 ‘experts’ in Internet Marketing.

It was a wonderful place to live in, a safe environment where you could work and breathe without being poisoned with some hyped up product.

Fast forward and the industry, started to change. The ’sharks’ smelt blood and entered our market place and started destroying the industry..
